Exam ID : Series7
Exam Title : General Securities Representative Series 7
Questions : 135 (125 Scored)
Unscored : 10
Duration : 3 hrs 45 min.

The Series 7 test is designed to assess the competency of entry-level General Securities Representatives. The Series 7 test seeks to measure the degree to which each candidate possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the critical functions of a General Securities Registered Representative. In order to obtain registration as a General Securities Representative, candidates must pass both the Series 7 test and a general knowledge co-requisite, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.

Seeks Business for the Broker-Dealer from Customers and Potential Customers 7%
Opens Accounts After Obtaining and Evaluating Customers Financial Profile and Investment Objectives 9%
Provides Customers with Information About Investments, Makes Suitable Recommendations, Transfers Assets and Maintains Appropriate Records 73%
Obtains and Verifies Customers Purchase and Sales Instructions and Agreements; Processes, Completes and Confirms Transactions 11%

The test is administered via computer. A tutorial on how to take the test is provided prior to taking the exam. Each candidates test includes 10 additional, unidentified pretest items that do not contribute toward the candidate's score. The pretest items are randomly distributed throughout the exam. Therefore, each candidates test consists of a total of 135 items (125 scored and 10 unscored). There is no penalty for guessing. Therefore, candidates should attempt to answer all items. Candidates will be allowed 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete the Series 7 exam. All candidate test scores are placed on a common scale using a statistical adjustment process known as equating. Equating scores to a common scale accounts for the slight variations in difficulty that may exist among the different sets of test items that candidates receive. This allows for a fair comparison of scores and ensures that every candidate is held to the same passing standard regardless of which set of test items they received. Candidates are not permitted to bring reference materials to their testing session. Severe penalties are imposed on candidates who cheat or attempt to cheat on FINRA-administered exams.

The Virgin Galactic Bull Thesis Weakens as Its Founder Dumps Shares | Series7 Test Prep and Questions and Answers

In late June, it was “all methods go” for Virgin Galactic (NYSE:SPCE). Holders of SPCE stock cheered as the business received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly customers into area.

now not simplest that, but Virgin Galactic established its may additionally 22 check flight “carried out smartly towards all flight pursuits.” It completed a pace of Mach three and reached space at an altitude of 55.5 miles.

Yet, it wasn’t lengthy after eccentric billionaire and Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson had been shot into house on the first-ever commercial space flight that investors’ enthusiasm started to wane. A June pop in SPCE stock changed into adopted through a precipitous drop.

besides the fact that shares rallied Tuesday following fine analyst coverage, every other exact developments may supply investors pause.

a better examine SPCE inventory

On two separate events in 2021, SPCE shot up to around the $60 level.

the first example happened in February. This may additionally have been due in part to the Reddit-pushed meme-inventory craze that changed into in full effect in early 2021. Shares rocketed to an all-time high of $sixty two.80 earlier than straight away turning lower. SPCE inventory didn’t bottom out except mid-may. It fell beneath $15 a share, shedding more than 75% of its price.

The sharp promote-off in SPCE stock changed into adopted by means of a swift rebound. Shares traded lower back up near the $60 level in late June, as traders cheered the FAA approval. Yet, well-nigh as without delay, they begun to unravel once again. Even with Tuesday’s pop, SPCE inventory closed August greater than 50% under its late-June high.

on the equal time, Virgin Galactic has trailing 12-month salary per share of -$1.seventy nine, which is not encouraging. What’s more, the path to profitability is far from certain.

Flight Delays and Share Printing

The launch of Branson into house and subsequent FAA approval excited investors. despite the fact, everything can also not be stellar with Virgin Galactic.

closing month, CEO Michael Colglazier introduced the enterprise turned into delaying its commercial launches through 4 months except as a minimum late summer season 2022. Colglazier referred to enhancements being made to mothership VMS Eve and spacecraft VSS harmony as the reason for the brand new lengthen.

apparently, the upgrades to VMS Eve will permit it to fly a hundred times between predominant inspections. little question, that’s an enormous development over the ten flights up to now anticipated. Yet, whereas this should still be an outstanding factor for the company and investors long run, the newest in a string of delays is bound to frustrate some.

an extra supply of consternation is Virgin Galactic’s at-the-market $500 million inventory offering. In an at-the-market offering, the company typically sells newly issued shares at prevailing market expenditures.

for sure (but I’ll say it anyway), SPCE stockholders might not like the capabilities dilution that could influence from this big-scale share issuance.

eventually, you've got the exact divesting of millions of shares by Sir Branson himself, which doesn’t precisely instill confidence in SPCE stock.

Branson Cashes Out

Virgin Galactic’s founder and figurehead reportedly sold more than 10 million shares between Aug. 10 and Aug. 12 for basically $300 million. This adopted a $504.5 million stake sale by way of Branson in may additionally 2020 and a $one hundred fifty.three million offloading of shares in April 2021.

A spokesperson asserted that the proceeds from the latest sale may be used to guide the amusement and trip agencies of Branson’s Virgin community, in addition to to boost new organizations. I think about that gained’t make SPCE stockholders think any more suitable, notwithstanding.

And whereas Jefferies initiated coverage of SPCE stock with a “purchase” rating this week, other analysts appear less enthusiastic. Morgan Stanley currently downgraded the stock from “equal weight” to “underweight.” in addition, credit Suisse resumed its insurance of Virgin Galactic with a ho-hum “impartial” ranking and a not-so-formidable rate goal of $30.

The final analysis on SPCE stock

It’s high-quality to put money into SPCE stock if you’re bullish on the house tourism market commonly and for the long term. just be aware that Branson lately dumped tens of millions of shares and the business’s bold plans were plagued by a string of delays. hence, in the intervening time, a wait-and-see strategy could be the most effective means to head.
